Since opening our doors on 14 January 2010, we have built a reputation for practical advice, strong product knowledge and reliable service.

Today, we support everyone from property owners and DIYers, to tradespeople, local authorities and businesses.

Half a Century of Expertise

Plumb Merchants is built on nearly 50 years of industry experience.

Plumb Merchants founder Kevin Sullivan, a Dublin native, first entered the plumbing trade on 1 May 1978. Since then, he has worked across retail, wholesale and heating, bringing decades of hands-on knowledge to the business.

Kevin’s mission for Plumb Merchants was simple: to create a shop known for technical knowledge, strong stock and exceptional service.

Service Comes First

At Plumb Merchants, we are not just parts providers. We are problem solvers.

We pride ourselves on the personal touch. When a customer contacts us or visits the shop, we ask the right questions so we can help identify the right product for the job.

That might mean checking measurements, system pressures, valve types, compatibility, brand markings or the way a part connects. It is all part of helping customers get what they need first time.

Our team understands that some jobs are urgent. When something needs to be fixed quickly, practical advice and reliable stock make all the difference.

To help customers prepare before getting in touch or visiting us in store, we have created Top Tap Tips, a simple advice hub with practical how-to guides, common questions and tips on how to get the right plumbing advice faster.

“Noah’s Ark” Stock Approach

In plumbing and heating, time matters. That's why we take what we call a “Noah’s Ark” approach to stock, aiming to carry a broad range of the parts and products customers need for everyday jobs, urgent repairs and larger projects.

As Kevin says, "if there's a solution, we'll find it!"
